I appreciate that you’ve chosen MT Leaning Tree Massage for your massage and bodywork needs. To provide the best service possible to clients, the following policies have been implemented.
Leaning Tree Massage respectfully requires that if you are not able to make a scheduled appointment, you agree to cancel or reschedule the appointment at least 24 hours in advance. If you give less than 24 hours’ notice, you agree to pay $35 or 50% of the full session rate (whichever is greater) for the first missed session/late cancellation or reschedule and you agree to pay the full session rate if you give 4 hours’ notice or less or for future missed sessions/last cancellations or reschedules, or if you miss an appointment without giving notice. MT Leaning Tree Massage reserves the right to require a credit card number to be put on file to book and reserve your appointment, as well as to be used to charge the appropriate fees in the event of a late cancellation, reschedule, or missed (“no show”) appointment.
SUDDEN ILLNESS/HEALTH OR PERSONAL EMERGENCY/INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
MT Leaning Tree understands that emergencies can arise and illnesses do occur at inopportune times. If you develop a fever, a contagious illness, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time it is requested that you cancel your session in accordance with the cancellation/rescheduling policy. If within 24 hours of your session, you have a personal emergency rendering you unable to make your appointment, you will inform MT Leaning Tree Massage right away, and if MT Leaning Tree Massage is unable to fill your vacancy, you will pay the cancellation fee, or session fee (if less than 4 hours’ notice), unless an exception is granted; only at the discretion of MT Leaning Tree Massage. Inclement weather may also result in the need for late cancellations. MT Leaning Tree Massage will do its best to give advance notice if there is a closure or a need to cancel due to bad weather and ask that you do the same. Please do not risk your own safety trying to make your appointment.
You understand that you are still responsible for your appointment until you hear back from MT Leaning Tree Massage confirming your request for a cancellation/reschedule.
ARRIVING ON TIME/SESSION LENGTH/LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
MT Leaning Tree Massage respectfully requests that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow for necessary paperwork or to answer any intake questions your therapist may have, as well as to get the full session time you have scheduled. If you arrive on time, or late, you understand that the therapist can only give you whatever time remains of your appointment, and that you will pay for the full length of the session that you booked. MT Leaning Tree Massage understands that issues can arise that may cause you to be late for your appointment; please call so that your late arrival can be accommodated. Appointment times are reserved for each client, so oftentimes sessions cannot exceed the reserved time without making the next client late. In the event that MT Leaning Tree Massage is late, it will do its best to adjust the sesion accordingly; either by adding time to your session when feasible or by adjusting the service charge accordingly.
INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR POLICY
MT Leaning Tree Massage has a zero tolerance policy in regards to inappropriate behavior. Massage Therapy is for therapeutic and relaxation purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited, MT Leaning Tree Massage may also file a report with local authorities if necessary. MT Leaning Tree Massage reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
MT Leaning Tree Massage believes in satisfaction guaranteed. For this standard to be met, you understand that in order for you to receive the best massage therapy possible, you must communicate ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, including your needs, preferences, requests, or feedback, at any time before, during, or after your massage. You take it upon yourself to communicate right away if there is anything distracting you or if you feel unwell or uncomfortable at any time during the session so that the necessary adjustments can be made; this also means you may terminate the session at any time. You understand that MT Leaning Tree Massage wants your HONEST feedback-positive or negative- and doesn’t take offense to it.
